I Need Your Help

The bed bugs are so bad, I even found a couple of them inside my box of pancake mix.  They weren't in the mix itself, just the box, but it's only a matter of time.

I'm a crafter and want to work on some projects, but I don't want to get out my art supplies and have them become infested with bugs.

Some of the other problems I'm dealing with:

I need to move to a new, healthier apartment, this one has asbestos in the ceiling and probably walls. The management has decided to stop doing any repairs. They are slum lords and don't care about the health of the tenants. We are paychecks and nothing more. The manager is incompetent, only keeps her job because she's related to someone in the company. A few days ago she told my friend/neighbor (who helps me by taking out my garbage and getting my mail)  that he's not allowed to enter my apartment because if he brings bed bugs into his own apartment, he'll be responsible for treatment.

I also need a new mobility scooter. The one I have is borrowed from an organization, isn't rated for my weight, and is very old, not as reliable as I'd like. When I'm out scootering, I have to be careful that it doesn't fall over when I cross a driveway or go across an incline. I'm so grateful to have it, but I fear it won't be with me very much longer. The organization from which it's borrowed told me, when this scooter dies, they won't help me again. I can't leave the apartment without a scooter.

I need some paratransit bus tickets. They cost $30 for a book of ten tickets. Without my scooter or the bus, I'm completely homebound.
